Beginning this Sunday, December 5, at 11 am, four locations in LoDo will host a collective fundraiser to benefit various non-profit organizations and causes. Each location will feature food, music, cocktails, free hot chocolate, and games to help celebrate the joy of giving back to the community.
Dairy Block
Proceeds from funds raised at this location will benefit parents in need of essential items for their children. Dairy Block is partnering with WeeCycle, a Colorado nonprofit that will match all donations of baby gear to donate to local families. Current donation requests include:
- Baby Lotion
- Formula
- Baby Food
- Baby Nail Clippers
- Baby Thermometers
Each donor will receive a free holiday cocktail. Enjoy your beverage while listening to live music and perusing the Après Ski Holiday Market, featuring more than 30 local vendors.
Union Station
Denver Union Station will be partnering with Children’s Hospital Colorado. Local businesses, including the Milkbox Ice Creamery, Terminal Bar, Pigtrain Coffee Co., Tattered Cover, and Ultreia will donate 5% of all sales made between 11 am and 5 pm. The Crawford Hotel will also be giving 5% of its net room revenue for all December 5 bookings.
Be sure to visit Miracle at Union Station, a popup bar decked out in holiday decor and serving drinks for a cause. Every reservation costs $2, and 100 percent of the fees go to Children’s Hospital. They will be open through December 29.
In addition to the usual fun at Denver Union Station, there will also be free photos with Santa Claus from 11 am to 5 pm. Guests can contribute in various places around the station with cash donations, gift cards, and presents.
McGregor Square
Denver Public Schools will be collecting books and cash donations to benefit students and schools in the DPS. There will be live music and holiday cocktails, and a holiday market to enjoy.
For the kids, Santa will be making an appearance between 2 and 5pm.
Basecamp Market Station
Big City Mountaineers is partnering with this Denver location to raise funds for underrepresented youths and give them the chance to explore and learn in nature. They will be accepting cash donations.
Activities at the Basecamp location include:
- Live jazz and soul music by Dzirae Gold
- Free hot chocolate and coffee from Goodhart
- Free chai tea from Milk Tea People
- Professional portraits in a vintage ski-themed photo booth (free with a donation of $15 or more)
- Games
- Food by Radical Sasquatch Dumpling Food Truck

Denver is a city that takes pride in giving back and supporting our local communities.
